I love designers. They take whatever confusing idea I have in my head, and with a few clicks (and a lot of coffee) it’s right there on my screen, even better than I imagined. Designers are miracle workers with endless patience and I owe Ciara, GoCambio’s resident designer, a great deal of my sanity. Actually, I think all designers out there deserve a bit of credit, so here’s a list of some super designers in our community, who specialise in everything from interior design to cake design (yummy!).
British but currently living in Jersey, Josh has a Bachelor’s Degree in Aeronautical Engineering Foundation. Open-minded and up for adventure, he loves learning new things, reading thought-provoking philosophy and psychology books and playing the guitar and drums. A qualified scuba diver, he goes to the gym regularly and enjoys sports and outdoor activities. Hailing from the Land Down Under, Will has a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design and loves all things art, design, music, architecture, ive ure and animals. With extensive experience in the design field, he can’t wait pass on his skills in both graphic and web design and spend some time outdoors in a new location. Ju lives and works in Brazil as a graphic designer. An adventurer and climber, Yeison is passionate about learning about different places and cultures. Before he became a graphic designer for a motorsport company in New York, Yeison studied technical drawing at college. Sebastian has just completed his degree in architecture, so he’s all ready to find some exciting new experiences abroad. Already a pretty confident English speaker, he’d love the chance to improve his skills even more on a cambio. A lead medical assistant, Sierra wants to experience and explore the world outside of the U.S. Adventurous and open-minded, Sierra has a lot to offer and would absolutely love the chance to challenge her independence by travelling and volunteering abroad. Melissa is putting her best foot forward on her mission to dance all over the world. As part of the world’s largest swing dance camp, she starts making her moves in Herrang, Sweden, before ending in Buenos Aires, Argentina. On her journey around the globe, Melissa is looking forward to sharing her interior design skills over home-cooked meals, as well as exchanging recipes and her interest in kayaking, fitness, hiking, cooking, the beach, cycling, travel, dystopian novels, Asian food, rock climbing, and motor sports. Coralie currently calls Bordeaux home, but she’d really like to do a spot of travelling and get to know people from other countries. Always looking to spread a little more beauty in the world, Coralie studied a degree in literature before beginning work as a florist. Michelle is a former US college English instructor who currently works as a Content Strategist and Marketing Consultant. With both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in English and creative writing, she writes screenplays and TV pilots to keep the creative juices flowing (funnily enough, she’s also a self-confessed juicer). Michelle now finds herself in the midst of planning a 2+ year trek around the world where she’d love to share her web design skills as well as her insight into online content and blogging.
